Airports

 My good friend Brian loves airports. I don’t. Am I the only person who can’t understand why airports set themselves up to be a shopping destination? You have to be there two to three hours in advance then are expected to be bored into eating or buying overpriced chocolate bars or sunglasses. 

Harrods? 

What’s Harrods doing at Gatwick? 

There were groups of heavily armed police there today and a couple of drug detection dogs but hardly a mask in sight. Until I got to the Gate where we were told everyone over the age of 12 had to wear a mask throughout the flight. 

I hate flying but the at least the view was great.        

      And Shannon airport was virtually deserted. The only thing the police did there was help me locate my hire car in the dark.
